    Scavdis - Bolen
    
    FOLLANSBEE - Blessed Sacrament Church in Wintersville was the setting for the May 3, 2003 wedding that united Michelle Scavdis and Mike Bolen in marriage. The 1:30 p.m. ceremony was celebrated by Monsignor Gerald Calovini.
    Escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her parents, John and Ethel Scavdis of Follansbee, the bride chose a matte satin gown with basque waist and cathedral length train adorned with crystals and pearls. She carried a bouquet of white roses, purple roses, stephanotis, purple fressia, statice and caspia tied with a satin ribbon.
    The groom is the son of Mary Bolen Sedon of Rayland.
    Lisa Trautman of Detroit served as her sisterÕs matron of honor. Margaret Jones of Weirton was the maid of honor and Carrie Hughes of Toronto was the bridesmaid.
    Jason Pasco of Rayland was the best man. Ushers were Mark Trautman of Detroit, brother-in-law of the bride and David Archer of Stow, Ohio.
    Venessa Pasco of Rayland was the flower girl
    Gus Trautman of Detroit, nephew of the bride and Jimmy Pasco of Rayland were the ring bearers.
    After a reception at Club Hollywood at LenoraÕs Cafe & Pub, the newlyweds took a wedding trip to Ocean City, Md.
    The bride is a graduate of Brooke High School and Jefferson Community College with an associate degree in retailing and is employed by Wal-Mart.
    The groom is a graduate of Steubenville High School and is employed by the Herald-Star.
    They reside in Steubenville.
