Description Guest columns appear on every Wednesday of each month.
Submission must be 500 words minimum and 750 words maximum. All submissions are subject to editing. Publication of guest columns written by the same author is restricted to once per 12 months.
A photo of the author must accompany the publication of the column. Columnists may either submit their own photo or arrangements will be made for one of The Journal's photographers to take one. Also, contact information for the author must accompany the column's publication so readers can respond if they wish.
There will be no compensation for submissions whether published or not. Include your name, address, phone number and, if applicable, e-mail address with submissions.
