Description The Community News Section also will consider other items of interest to readers of The Maui News. News that already has happened should be submitted as soon as possible to keep publication timely. For announcement of events, submissions should be sent in by Noon Monday to be considered for a Wednesday issue.
Information should answer the questions: Who? What? When? Where? Why? And, sometimes, how? The name and day and evening phone numbers for a contact person should be included as well.
