Description Campaign Trail is a column published during election years from June through early November. Campaign trail items usually run 3 to 4 column inches long. Items include announcements of candidate fundraisers, speaking engagements and endorsements. Information should include the name of the candidate, his or her party (if any), the office being sought, the purpose of an event, the first and last name of a contact person with day and evening phone numbers and the time, date and location of an event.
