The Maui News publishes a Check It Out column on Mondays. Copy editor Kekoa Enomoto takes queries from readers and calls sources in government, business or elsewhere to investigate complaints and concerns. If you've got a question you can't get any answers to or need help solving a problem, let The Maui News check it out.

Photos can be sent by clicking on the photo submit button in The Maui News Virtual Newsroom site or as attachments via e-mail to editor@mauinews.com.
The Maui News uses jpeg or tiff photo formats. Photo resolution needs to be at least 200 dots per inch. Photos should be at least 4 by 6 inches. Photos should be submitted in color. Also, people appearing in photos need to be clearly identified for captions. The photographer also should say what's happening in the photo, where it is and what time and date the photo was taken.
