The Maui Scene is a tabloid insert included in The Maui News on Thursdays. As the newspaper's entertainment and dining guide, it includes features on the island's arts and culture scene, editor Rick Chatenever's "Making the Scene" column, island music, theater reviews, listings of performances at island clubs and restaurants and gallery listings. Currents is published on Sundays. It has lifestyle stories and pages or columns devoted to books, travel and the arts. Submit information for Currents at least 10 days prior to publication.
